Chair

This chair is the finishing piece in a series of armchairs made of thin sheet. Working on this piece, I wanted to try the combination of two different materials: steel and brass; and also I tried to punch out parts in an already assembled state. These two factors, combined with a simple shape of whole piece, brought a new appearance to the piece: reminding reptilian skin or medieval armor. To reveal the hammered texture, the chair was finished with hot beeswax.
