Sculpture  "Stone"

This sculpture is constructed using 19th-century and earlier metalworking techniques, including hot forging and traditional jointing with rivets, wedges and clamps. Composed of 372 hand-forged elements and assembled entirely without welding, the work merges architectural structure with sculptural fluidity. The sweeping, curved wings evoke the softness of fabric, forming a striking contrast with the iron’s inherent strength.

Contemporary metal forged sculpture. Raw steel finish.

Dimensions: 52" x 34" x 26".
