THE CATHERINE PALACE
The Catherine Palace, a Bartolomeo Rastrelli’s architectural masterpiece (XVIII century), part of the UNESCO world heritage site, Tsarskoye Selo (Pushkin) in the environs of Saint Petersburg.
Dmitrii Volkov implemented the restoration of the railing of front entrance Grand Stairway in 2005. The railing was dismantled, steel was cleaned and restored. The railing had aluminum parts which were switched to bronze parts.
