Iron Shelf Brackets - Hand Forged Farmhouse Shelf Support 1.5" Wide

Iron Shelf Brackets custom made from solid steel using traditional blacksmith techniques. These metal shelf brackets provide strong support for open shelves and custom shelving projects.
 
Each bracket is individually forged by hand in my Maryland workshop. Natural hammer marks and a rich patina highlight authentic blacksmith craftsmanship and give every piece a unique character.
 
These solid steel floating shelf brackets are built for strength, durability, and timeless design — perfect for rustic, farmhouse, industrial, or modern interiors.

• Frame: 1½" × 3/16" solid steel flat bar
• Center support: 3/8" solid square bar, riveted for additional strength
• Six (6) pre-drilled mounting holes for secure installation
• Classic L-bar design with a single arch

FINISH OPTIONS
 
Raw Steel – Brushed & Varnished
Cleaned from scale, brushed, and sealed with polyurethane varnish. This finish highlights the natural character and texture of the steel.
 
Black Organic Hot Beeswax 
Multiple layers of heated beeswax create a warm natural patina and strong corrosion-resistant protection. A completely organic finish.
 
Oil Rubbed Bronze
Durable protective finish suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Applied to the cleaned and heated steel surface.
 
SCREWS
Color-matching screws are included with each bracket: 2" screws for the wall side and 1" screws for attaching the shelf.
 
Each bracket is individually forged, so slight variations are part of the handmade process. No two pieces are exactly alike.
